  2. -It enriched me a lot traveling to a foreign country and meeting a lot of great peop-It was a nice experience. I think I didn't learn any theoretical content, but it was a great opportunity to put into practice my own knowledge, and practice my values like breaking stereotypes, and avoid any prejudices. I have met a lot of people who are different from me that I would have never met in my daily life and I think is amazing when your realize that people that you think that have nothing in common with you, can become your soulmates. Also i have improve my english, and i bring back home with me a lot of stories
  3. Did the information you learned during the project lived up to your expectations? If not, what would you like to learn more about?
-I had none I was living everyday as a new step.
-It can always be better. We would like to learn more about migration. We would like to do more depth activities not only games, and the duration of them have been excesive in some cases.
  4. How was the atmosphere in the whole group? Was it comfortable for you to speak up and engage with the other participants?
-I’m usually easy and I participate a lot. I love the group and its components
-The atmosphere has been great, I always felt comfortable when I was participating.
    -Always amazing.
-The atmosphere was very positive and friendly. It was getting more comfortable for me with each passing activities.
  5. What emotions did you experience during the project?
-Storytelling apply in different fields. Also, the women football team experience was great
    -Empathy, nearness, joy
    -Joy, adventure, sleepiness.
-I felt a lot of emotions, but what i did the most was connection with feelings of the others. We took part in many games which was about trust, sharing with each other, fun and team work. We saw a lot of different perceptions and learn how to be more creative
  6. Which  was your favourite activity and why?
-The blinded dancing. For me, it was an appasionating experience of self-discovering that I won't never forget.
-Creating a digital story for sure because I think it was the most engaging activity and we did a good work as a team, so I was satisfied with the final result.
  7. Which was your least favourite activity and why?
-The one if the eye contact, becamse of the lack of collaboration of the pairs that I had.
-Creating activities, because we did it and didn’t tried them, so it was pointless.
-Visiting Alghero. This was a time to reflect on previous days as well as visit a new town. It was beautiful and the people I came across also were. My favourite moment was walking along the sea to find a fisherman and then ask them about their experiences and stories. I felt passion resonating from the people and even though I was unable to understand the Italian language it was still a beautiful process
  8. Did you feel comfortable during them? Did you manage to get out of your comfort zone? Did you have any activities that made you feel uncomfortable why?
    -
I managed to get out of the comfort zone since the first day, maybe the activity with the way of the hero was the most uncomfortable for me, because its hard to share a problem and expect help from someone that don’t know you well and can’t give you adequate advice.- Kristian

So we tried it and Lavinia told us that we had to pay for it and we were ashamed. Finally the waiter seeing the situation invited us haha.

STORIES

During our time in Sardinia, we have been working on storytelling, which has been verbal and digital... We have collected stories of different cultures from each other, as well as hearing stories from the locals in Alghero. Here are a few of our favorite stories!

The story of Quattro Mori

During our visit to Alghero, we tried to understand the meaning of the Sardinian flag, all the groups seemed to get a different understanding of the meaning. This is what we discovered...

An alternative meaning from another group

Originally, the meaning of the flag of Sardinia was related to the war events of the Kingdom of Aragon, that ruled the Sardinia from 1324 AD to 1479 AD. The historical tradition has it that the four heads represent four victories achieved by The Kingdom of Aragon against the invading Moors: Zaragoza, Valencia, Murcia and the Balearics.

A history of Alghero

Alghero is a beautiful city and a historical place, which attracts thousands of tourists, especially during the summer. On the picture, you can see the heavy weapon which is situated on the seafront in case of any emergency attack

The street culture

The Spanish girls enjoyed dancing to music, in the streets of Alghero, it is common to hear Spanish music being played in Sardinia.

The stories of a Sardinian man who spent his life as a musician

This is a video of Pietro, who spent his life visiting different countries and playing a range of instruments, he told us that he only likes natural-sounding instruments like the Chelo and the Violin.

The story of Sara

Sara moved from San-Francisco to Alghero in the name of love.

"A Story of Europe" BMYP 2 was implemented in Varna, Bulgaria in the period 1-9 of July 2019. During BMYP in Varna, we worked on the methodology of Education Through Sports. Therewithal, we continued the storytelling with Human Library and TEDx Varna. Here are some stories from the participants' experiences!

The Story of  Danial and Violeta

This Erasmus exchange has given me new stories to share in my life apart from sports activities I have worked a small bit on my soft skills, as well as met new people, made new friends, friends which I won't forget learned about different cultures. We had a great time together all and all was a new experience in my life.
-
The Story of   Manuel

In this youth exchange, part of ka2 project A Story of Europe, we had the opportunity to meet other 30 youngsters coming from different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and realities. This exchange has had 2 main parts, the first one we had to learn from each other and in the second one we adapted the project to the diverse people that were attending it. It has been an experience where we have learned a lot of different stuff like cultures, Erasmus realities, perceptions, backgrounds, and Bulgaria.
-
 The Story of  Antonio

This project was not very good at first. Activities were not exactly how we expected, but the organization team was very well to understand us and they changed the programs in the base of our needs. Social life, especially the disco and the clubs were very good and they help us to get to know each other better.
-
 The Story of  Yoan

The project was a good opportunity to meet some people from different countries and exchange knowledge. The connection between sport and entrepreneurship for me did not clarify during the training. Might be my fault for not being able to get fully engaged and excited about the project. I was not super excited about the project also because I am a very individualistic type of person and is hard to get impressed. Some exercises I liked and others were not so interesting and I could not realize the meaning of it, but in general, was with good intention. I feel more neutral about the whole thing. It was fun from time to time. Another thing- most people were speaking in Spanish all the time which I found annoying and hard to socialize.
-
The Story of  Lukas and Lucas

The idea of the project was to show the connection between sport and entrepreneurship. As it is with each Erasmus + program, you get the chance to meet other people from different countries. It is a nice opportunity for productive exchange. From a psychological point of view, the activities put you out of your comfort zone meeting your own fears and obstacles which get in your path to success in life. For some people that fear can be talking in front of a group of strangers, expressing your personal experiences. The sports activities when connected with entrepreneurship are a nice way to learn the basics of entrepreneurship, most importantly that you cannot escape failures and you should not fear them but grasp the opportunity for learning from them.

The Story of Yanira and Celia

Good ambient, the people kind and sympathetic, good and funny activities, good food, beautiful scenery, it was really good experiences meeting other people with another opinion and funny moments.

The Story of Carmine and Ivan

It's an experience that surprise you minute by minute. We learned that it's also possible to learn from the disaster :). By another hand it was a good chance to do an international exchange, meeting new people, learning new languages and having fun!

The Story of Carlos and Jorge

This the project has been an amazing experience, the chance to come to Bulgaria and also known people of almost all of Europe is for us a very unique opportunity. Living here with the other participants and do the activities with them has helped us to be more outgoing and also learn another language and improve our English level. Thanks for everything, greetings from Carlos and Jorge.
